Coalition Connector

The past year has seen some significant changes for the Coalition for Persons with Disabilities. With many exciting prospects on the horizon, we have created a newsletter, the Coalition Connector - which is available in print or online - to keep you informed.

July/August 2007 Newsletter.

June 2007 Newsletter.

Community Access Guide

The Coalition is developing an Accessibility Guide for the Peel and Halton regions. The Accessibility Guide will provide members of the communities with information on the accessibility of local facilities, starting with restaurants.

The information collected will be incorporated into an online, interactive community map. The Coalition will begin posting the results in late summer.

Over the next several months, Coalition representatives will be passing out information brochures and booking appointments. If would like more information about the project or if you know of any restaurant interested in having a free audit and being promoted in the Community Access Guide, please e-mail coalition.pwd@sympatico.ca or contact Matthew at 905.890.0140 ext. 24.
