Programs to Develop Employability Skills

Destination Employment works with participants to evaluate their Employability Skills. They access their strengths and their weaknesses. They learn what they can do to compensate for their weak areas by using assistive technology as well as many coping strategies.

Programs targeted to Persons With Disabilities

Destination Employment was developed by the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada to help integrate unemployed adults with learning disabilities into the workplace. Participants must undergo a formal assessment and those diagnosed with a learning disability go through a training program that provides information on assessment skills and employment issues.
