Organizational Level of Programming Decisions

Other

The programs primary appeal at the Georgetown site is the personalized approach to each clients job search. Initially, a client will meet one-on-one with a job search advisor for approximately 2 hours. Subsequent appointments are provided as needed. Time is taken to provide practical, hands-on implementation of information, tools & job search goals/ strategies. (ie – Cold calling employers, script writing, setting up appointments, resume writing, mock interviews, critical thinking/ decision making, job direction planning, eliminating defeatist and/ or fear barriers). Most clients can access job search information but the goal is to help eliminate that which might prevent a client from acting upon the information and conducting an effectual job search. Offering employer perspective is also critical in helping clients dispel misconceptions and recognize/ distinguish what they truly have to offer the working world
