Many persons with disabilities have not had equal access to work experience opportunities. Often persons with disabilities have experienced hiring barriers based on fear and ignorance or just lack of awareness.
Diversity is an invaluable asset to any environment. When differently skilled individuals contribute to common goals while working in collaboration with their colleagues, dynamic and creative work forces develop.
There is a tremendous amount of online resources that provide information and support. This is just a sampling and many of these sites have further suggestions through their links pages.

Have you ever wanted an easy way to search for social services, transportation information and community organizations available in your region?
Check out the Community Information Database for your region. These databases contain information about social, health and government services.
